K

Kernel - the kernel in computing terms is responsible for communicating between the software and the hardware (kind of a middle man). When the software runs it asks the kernel to do something, which then tells the hardware what to do.

Keyboard - A keyboard is a rectangular device with keys of the alphabet on to allow a user to tpye words into the computer.

KiloByte - A kilobyte is a unit of storage. 1024 bytes is equal to one kilobyte. It is often abbreviated as KB.
